Here, I\u2019m sharing a rich, flavorful little canap\u00e9 \u2014 fancy enough to impress, casual enough to snack on.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"779\"><strong data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"614\">\ud83d\udc3b Nounours&rsquo; note:<\/strong> For this recipe, you\u2019ll need small boat-shaped molds \u2014 <em data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"682\">barquettes<\/em>, as we say in French \u2014 a good excuse to visit that friend of yours with all the kitchen gadgets!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr class=\"\" data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"784\" \/>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"819\">Makes 15 bite-sized canap\u00e9s<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"846\"><strong data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"844\">For the barquettes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"923\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"870\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"870\">50g Brazil nut meal<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"884\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"884\">80g flour<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"906\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"887\" data-end=\"906\">70g Breton butter<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>or any butter, really, it&rsquo;s just that Breton butter comes salted and with flavors that go well with seafood<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"923\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"923\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"909\" data-end=\"923\">2 egg whites<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"947\"><strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"945\">For the filling:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"1009\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"972\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"950\" data-end=\"972\">60g spiny crab meat<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"991\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"991\">60g mayonnaise<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"992\" data-end=\"1009\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1009\">3 sea urchins<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"\" data-start=\"1011\" data-end=\"1014\" \/>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1050\">Starting with the barquettes<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1140\">Let\u2019s assume your butter is salted \u2014 if not, add a pinch of salt to your mixture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1313\">Combine the flour and Brazil nut meal. Whip the egg whites to stiff peaks, then gently fold in the dry ingredients.
