{"id":1006,"date":"2020-03-18T22:49:03","date_gmt":"2020-03-18T21:49:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lacuisinedenounours.fr\/?p=1006"},"modified":"2024-11-24T08:52:58","modified_gmt":"2024-11-24T07:52:58","slug":"chaussoniflette-with-guanciale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lacuisinedenounours.fr\/?p=1006&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Chaussoniflette with Guanciale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yes, I know, a <em>chaussoniflette<\/em> doesn\u2019t exist, but personally, I think it sounds amazing, and honestly, considering the times we\u2019re living in, if you have enough emotional energy left to find it upsetting, I\u2019d love to know where you live.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the almost-perfect fusion of a tartiflette and a mini calzone.<\/p>\n<p>The only valid alternative for those too afraid to admit they like Savoyard pizza.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>AND THEY\u2019RE RIGHT! Never confess this under any circumstance\u2014it\u2019s a crime almost as bad as loving pineapple pizza.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Serves two:<\/p>\n<p>For the chausson<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>400g bread dough<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the filling<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100g potatoes (Charlotte variety)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 onion (Roscoff)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 wheel of aged Reblochon<\/li>\n<li>60g guanciale<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>It\u2019s really simple, once again:<\/p>\n<p>Precook the potatoes for 15 minutes in boiling water, then peel and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Finely slice the guanciale and saut\u00e9 it in a hot pan for 2 minutes until golden. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Thinly slice the half onion and brown it in the rendered fat from the guanciale.<\/p>\n<p>Cut the Reblochon into roughly 2 cm cubes.
